An anonymous tip comes to you via sms/phone call,
Basically scammer wants people to buy the stock he has choosen and creates demand voulme data at his own predecided price level chain .
theirby the he seeks a sudden price rise. so that, he can sell the stock which, he has already acquired before playing this scam with investors .
The irony is, as soon as, the scammer sells his stake, price falls again & even below the it’s normal level. hence, investor suffers huge loss in a day itself.
This scam is noticed by zerodha platform and zerodha has duely alerted it’s investor through notification.
Although this unethical practice is being followed by some of the brokers who decide to give profits to it’s clients sometime and sometime recover it again doing such kind scam in consideration of his brokerage, commission etc..
So,
I urge investors, not to relay blindly on these tips, specifically for those companies stocks where are traded in less volume and do not go for intraday unless you have your own technical and fundamental analysis handy.
